The following is an article from the Gooding County (Idaho) Leader about Dave Stephenson and his research into the life of the Second's William H. Short.  As a result of this article, an ancestor of John M. Locke gave Dave a copy of the outstanding image of Locke now on our Battalion Image Page (Co. M).
